Steps to Completion

I started this pastel a few weeks ago and decided to post the various steps. In this first photo you can see the areas blocked out with color as I plan out the layout of the picture.
















 Step two is more defined and the colors are intensified. In particular, you see the darker colors are chalked in. It becomes a bit more clear what is being depicted.

The third picture shows the finer details and the highlighted areas are painted in.

Finally, I edit on my computer by using various filters.
